Types of color steel coil production

Color steel coil is originally a colored coated steel coil, which has excellent anti rust and anti-corrosion properties and has been widely used in various industries. However, in its production process, there are quite a few types of substrates, and the specific selection is mainly based on the different fields of application. So what are the types of color steel coil substrates?
- Cold rolled substrate with processing properties of cold-rolled sheet; But any small scratches on the surface coating will expose the cold-rolled substrate to the air, causing red rust to quickly form on the exposed iron.
- Galvanized substrate, the main method for surface galvanizing of color steel coils now is hot-dip galvanizing. Hot dip galvanizing is developed from an older hot-dip plating method, characterized by a smooth appearance, no zinc nodules or burrs, controllable thickness, and can be freely selected within 5-107 μ m. It has no hydrogen embrittlement, no temperature hazards, and can ensure that the mechanical properties of the material remain unchanged, with good corrosion resistance. The neutral salt spray test can reach 240 hours.
